The Follia bronze coffee tables are moulded and cast to simulate the supple organic of leaves. Despite being rendered in rigid medium, Ancarani’s works exudes an enticing levity. The unlikely juxtaposition of material and form is evidence of the artist’s striking originality and wit, while the bronze rich tone and golden patina expresses a precious fragility.
