Pierre Salagnac

Pierre Salagnac is a French master bronzesmith, sculptor, and designer. A graduate of the prestigious École Boulle in Paris, he received in-depth training in the three fundamental disciplines of the centuries-old craft of bronze artistry: mounting, turning, and chiseling.

After two decades directing some of the finest bronze workshops in France, Pierre Salagnac now flourishes in his own studio, fully dedicated to his art as a craftsman-sculptor, bringing metal to life with extraordinary finesse. His expert mastery of bronze techniques enables him to free the material, allowing its form to emerge with elegance and sensuality. Drawing inspiration from movement, fluidity, and organic growth, he interprets nature’s irregular forms, revealing the dynamic curves of change and transformation.

Pierre Salagnac has earned international recognition in the world of interior design, notably for his bronze Bonsai Trees, which he has “planted” across the globe. Another emblematic creation, his Élan Table, exemplifies his signature blend of nature and lightness. This work was recently acquired by Le Mobilier National as part of the Élysée Collection, further affirming his place among France’s most celebrated contemporary artisans.
