Lucas Recchia

Lucas Recchia started his career as a designer in 2018 with a first solo show in São Paulo. Since then, he has developed several projects with a group of local artisans emphasising on glass, bronze, aluminum and Brazilian stones.

From the understanding of the material arise the forms that make up his designs, sometimes modeled through computer graphics, sometimes hand crafted. Recchia aims to gather ancestral techniques to contemporary modeling methods to achieve a timeless and enduring aesthetic.

His works include the ‘Triped’ side table that carries an enchanting charm with its polished and patinated bronze composition adorned in a red patina. Embracing both a contemporary edge and a bold statement, the table shapes emerge through a fusion of manual and digital modeling. The patterns that cover one of the legs surface amalgamate Art Deco and Tribal styles.
