Parvine Curie is a French sculptor. Her discovery of Roman Catalonian art in 1957 pushed her to move to Spain, and create her first sculptures. Vernacular architecture, landscapes and flora influenced her work. She received the Bourdelle prize in 1979 for her monumental outdoor sculpture: Mère-Cathédrale. After several architectural and hieratic works, she experimented with figures of imbalance in the 1990s, and explored new materials for jewellery.
