Colo Studio started working with bronze over the last few years for its sculptural and rich tone aspects. Defining himself as a self-taught artist and designer, his background practice in art and furniture led him to create sensitive and meticulous artworks. Perceiving his workshop as a laboratory for innovation and experimentation, his practice merges moments of absolute control and instances of sheer unpredictability, embracing both precision and spontaneity.
Through the reappropriation of diverse traditional techniques in art-making, his work results in triumphant pieces of functional design, redefining the limitations of utility into high art.
